This Giving Tuesday please consider donating to the Dedham Knights of Columbus Council#234 to continue helping our community. We have over 200 members and due to Covid-19 restrictions we have not been able to do any in person fundraising this year.

We provide two $1000 College Scholarships each year, provide assistance to those in need, Volunteer at the Food pantry weekly, Run a Tootsie Roll drive for MA disabled children, and provide annual coat drives.

In addition, we do”Barn Raisers” which are construction projects for the disabled and elderly from adding stairs, decks, replacing windows, painting, tree cutting, and landscape projects. Please consider donating to help us carry on our “Mission of Charity”.

On Oct. 11-14, 2019 this Columbus Day weekend the Knights of Columbus in MA raise awareness and raise funds for children with learning and physical disabilities and have done so the for over 40 years!

One hundred percent of all funds collected go to the Massachusetts Knights Tootsie Roll Charities Fund.  In addition, the Councils support the Special Olympics and Special Needs programs at many MA schools.

So the next time you see a Knight in a yellow vest asking for donations outside a grocery store, or at a stop light and you receive a Tootsie Roll, remember it’s more than a “Tootsie Roll Drive.” It’s a chance to provide people with intellectual and physical disabilities more resources to live a happy life!

On Sunday November 24, 2014 the Dedham Food Pantry distributed turkeys with trimmings to about 150 families at the First Church Parish in Dedham.  Knights RJ Razon and Ariel Monserrat helped coordinate the volunteers during the turkey distribution.
